The CPI-AI-1208LI is an 8-channel analog input expansion card, designed to enhance the functionality of the Raspberry Pi. Each channel features 12-bits of resolution and can be configured for single-ended voltage inputs with 8 channels, differential voltage inputs with 4 channels, or differential current inputs with 4 channels. The switchable functions offer versatility for various input requirements. Contec's CPI series allows you to easily stack up to eight HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) size expansion cards, brining industrial-grade availability and maintainability to your Raspberry Pi devices.
-
Push-type terminal block for easy wiring
- The CPI Series includes a push-type terminal block for convenient, simple connection and disconnection of wired HATs without needing tools or crimping terminals.
-
Stacked connection of up to eight cards
- Contec has expanded HAT specifications to include address ID configurability, making it possible to connect up to eight stacked cards. Connection to HATs from other manufacturers is also possible.
-
API compatible with PC expansion cards and Python-compatible API
- Take advantage of API compatibility with Contec PCIe, USB, and Ethernet-type measurement control devices. Development assets can be reused across multiple platforms. Linux drivers (API-TOOL for Linux) can be downloaded for free from our website along with sample Python and GCC programs, allowing users to begin programming right away.
-
Bus Isolated Analog Inputs
- This product contains bus-isolated analog voltage inputs and analog current inputs. As the analog inputs support differential inputs, accurate measurement can be performed even when potential differences with the signal source occur.
-
Capable of supporting multiple input ranges and types
- With software commands, this product can support input ranges of ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, and 0 to 10V. The input type can be switched between single-ended inputs and differential inputs. Also, the range on an input can be switched to a current input of ±20mA with the switch on the I/O module.
-
Rugged and reliable
- The CPI-AI-1208LI uses no electrolytic capacitors enabling a longer life product. It also can operate over a temperature range of -20 to 60°C making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
