The CPI-AO-1602LC is a 2-channel analog output expansion card, designed to enhance the functionality of the Raspberry Pi. Each channel features 16-bits of resolution and can be configured for voltage or current outputs. The switchable functions offer versatility for various output requirements. Contec's CPI series allows you to easily stack up to eight HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) size expansion cards, brining industrial-grade availability and maintainability to your Raspberry Pi devices.
-
Push-type terminal block for easy wiring
- The CPI Series includes a push-type terminal block for convenient, simple connection and disconnection of wired HATs without needing tools or crimping terminals.
-
Stacked connection of up to eight cards
- Contec has expanded HAT specifications to include address ID configurability, making it possible to connect up to eight stacked cards. Connection to HATs from other manufacturers is also possible.
-
API compatible with PC expansion cards and Python-compatible API
- Take advantage of API compatibility with Contec PCIe, USB, and Ethernet-type measurement control devices. Development assets can be reused across multiple platforms. Linux drivers (API-TOOL for Linux) can be downloaded for free from our website along with sample Python and GCC programs, allowing users to begin programming right away.
-
Bus Isolated Analog Outputs
- This product contains analog voltage and current outputs with inter-channel isolation making it more resistant to noisy environments.
-
Capable of supporting multiple output voltage and current ranges
- This product can support output ranges of ±10V, ±5V, 0 to 10V, 0 to 5V, and 0 to 20mA. The output range can be selected with software commands.
-
Rugged and reliable
- The CPI-AO-1602LC uses no electrolytic capacitors enabling a longer life product. This product uses internal relays to control the outputs making it resistant to false commands from the CPU and making the outputs more stable for connected devices. It also can operate over temperature range of -20 to 60°C making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
