The CPI-RRY-16 is a 16-channel solid state relay expansion card designed to expand the functionality of the Raspberry Pi. Contec's CPI series allows you to easily stack up to eight HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) size expansion cards, bringing industrial-grade availability and maintainability to your Raspberry Pi devices.
- Push-type terminal block for easy wiring
- The CPI Series includes a push-type terminal block for convenient, simple connection and disconnection of wired HATs without needing tools or crimping terminals.
- Stacked connection of up to eight cards
- Contec has expanded HAT specifications to include address ID configurability, making it possible to connect up to eight stacked cards. Connection to HATs from other manufacturers is also possible.
- API compatible with PC expansion cards and Python-compatible API
- Take advantage of API compatibility with Contec PCIe, USB, and Ethernet-type measurement control devices. Development assets can be reused across multiple platforms. Linux drivers (API-TOOL for Linux) can be downloaded for free from our website along with sample Python and GCC programs, allowing users to begin programming right away.
- Solid state relay outputs
- This product is equipped with 16ch of solid state relay PhotoMOS outputs. Four channels share one common terminal, and the four common terminals can support different external power supplies. It supports a rating capacity of 30VDC at maximum.
- Extra features for rugged and reliable operation
- The CPI-RRY-16 makes use of the PhotoMOS solid state relay outputs to provide excellent noise isolation. The product also features TVS zener diodes that limit the outputs to 30VDC and protect against surge voltages. Because of this, no electrolytic capacitors are used resulting in a longer life expansion card. Finally, the operating temperature range of -20-60C enables operation in a wide range of environments.
